Types of Sewage Treatment Plants
We offer a wide range of sewage treatment
plants for removing contaminants from wastewater and household sewage. The
system utilizes physical, chemical and biological processes to remove
physical, chemical and biological contaminants. They find extensive
application in big hospitals, research centers and health establishments.
Sewage treatment plants comprises of collection tank, aeration tank, sludge
digester, filter press, screen, dual media filters and diffused aeration
system.
Based on extended aeration principle, our range of standard sewage plants
is available in capacity of 1 MLD. We can also customize plants based on the
specific application requirement of the process. The comprehensive range of
water treatment plants includes aerobic treatment plants, anaerobic
treatment plants, extended aeration plants, mobile sewage treatment plants,
etc.
Aerobic Treatment Plants / Extended Aeration Plants
Aerobic Treatment Plants (ATPâs) are usually installed in
areas where conventional septic systems do not function properly. These
mechanical wastewater treatment plants are an effective sewage disposal
system that breaks down the solid and aerate human and domestic wastes. The
bacterial activity is promoted by aerobic bacteria (bacteria which survive
in oxygenated environment) involving arrangements supplying oxygen to water.
Oxygen is supplied in the form of air (diluted) to oxygenate water. The
process of supplying air can be different viz. through fixed or floating
aerators or through diffused aeration. Supply of oxygen aerates water for
survival of bacterias that eat away the organic matter and clean up the
water.
Anaerobic Treatment Plants / U.A.S.B. Reactor Systems
Anaerobic Wastewater Treatment Plants
Our innovative range of Anaerobic Treatment Plants is ideally suited for
the pretreatment of high-strength wastewater that are typical of many
industrial facilities. These anaerobic treatment plants utilizes anaerobic
process that involves naturally-occurring bacteria to break down
biodegradable material in an industrial waste stream. The organic pollutants
are converted into methane and carbon dioxide, known as "bio-gas".
COD Balance
In the wastewater treatment
engineering organic pollutants are measured by the weight of oxygen it takes
to oxidize it chemically. This weight of oxygen is referred to as the "chemical
oxygen demand" (COD). Basically, COD is the measure of organic matter
content or concentration. The best method to appreciate anaerobic wastewater
treatment is to compare its COD balance with that of aerobic wastewater
treatment, as depicted in the Figure below.
Mobile Sewage Treatment Plants / Fluidized Bed Reactors

Akar Dynamic Bio-Reactor System (ADBR) is a compact mobile sewage treatment
plant that can be easily loaded in truck / trolley or even on a trailer. The
skid mounted design allows for easy assembling and disassembling unit,
providing greater mobility for transportation. This compact system uses 65%
less space and energy. The revolutionary system provides many benefits over
conventional systems based on biological process.
Akar Dynamic Bio-Reactor System (ADBR) is a combination of different
technologies. The compact system provides enhanced efficiency, performance
and easy mobility. We can manufacture ADBR in wide range capacities starting
from 10,000 Liters Per Day (suitable for 90 residents or 90 PE), up to
6,00,000 liters per day (suitable for 5600 residents or 5600 PE) in the Mini
and Midi range. For higher capacities and special requirement, the customer
can consult design engineers from the company.
The advantage that ADBR offers are :-
- No foul smell - Plant is fully enclosed.
- Treatment process retention time reduced by more than 60%.
- Space and energy saving of more than 60 %.
- Ready for almost immediate installation.
- Easily transportable. Mounted on skid.
- Can be mounted on trailer (if required) and moved to different
places.
- No major civil concrete works required at site.
- Saving on piping works requirement at site.
- Lockable from front. ( If Required )
